History of Arlington
When the dream of building a theatre in Arlington began, we did a lot of research and found that our community was once called "The East Coast Hollywood". As we dug deeper into the History we discovered that the white building on Arlington Road called Norman Laboratories was once a movie studio owned by a man named Richard Norman. He was a filmmaker and business owner of Norman Studios. To learn more click here .
This knowledge of our rich past fueled our desire to build the presence of the arts here in Arlington.
Present Day
Local residents of Arlington have begun a campaign to restore the old buildings to keep our history alive. Artist Connection Theatre is seeking to make history by restoring the love of the arts in Arlington. Join us in our efforts by giving of your time, talents, and money.
